Over the years we have taught ourselves to overcome the manufacturer's shortcomings and smooth over the manufactured "rough patches" and create an exceptionally well built and durable model to withstand the test to time.

Design Preservation Models building kits are perhaps the most frequently comissioned buildings, as their polyester resin castings are beautifully detailed, but require a lot of sanding and even more careful detail painting to make them look realistic. With over 20 DPM structres in both N and HO built right here in our shops, with a built example of every N scale DPM kit either built or in the process of construction, we're familar with all the quirks these kits posses that may frustrate the time-strapped or novice modeler.

Walther's Rolling Stock and Structure kits are very popular among modelers of all the major scales, but what if you don't want your "Merchant's Row" kit to look like those found on a thousand other model railroads across the country? Many rolling stock and locomotive kits no not meet the level of detail found on modern "Ready-to-Run" kits, but many kits have not been produced in "R-T-R" form.
